We are recruiting for a Paralegal to join our Capital Markets team in Singapore on a 6 month FTC.

ROLE & RESPONSBILITIES
Transaction management on due diligence exercise including:
- Drafting of documents such as board resolutions and closing certificates and updating other finance documents
- Assisting with condition precedent satisfaction and deal closing
- Running the SGX listing process independently, including dealing with issuers, banks and clients directly as required
- Indexing, copying financing transactions and filing a data room (the contents of which must be reviewed by an associate/trainee)
- Taking responsibility for ensuring the data room is kept in order
- Liaising with ACRA and MAS in relation to Singapore law matters
- Drafting secondary transaction documents, corporate and other supporting documents
- Liaising with clients and counterparties
- If required, taking part in meetings and conference calls
- If required, supervising and assisting data room visitors with photocopying and all other ad hoc general administration and queries;
- Preparing bibles
- Distribution of original documents and agreements
- Drafting correspondence
- Photocopying materials as required
- Proof-reading
- Indexing documents
- Researching legal matters
- Obtaining documentation
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Organised and methodical approach to work

- Flexibility to work late if required occasionally
- Positive attitude, especially towards the more administrative aspects of the role
- Possess at least a Diploma, Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Paralegal or Legal Executive is preferred
- Excellent research, writing and organisational skills
- Experience in drafting legal documents and closing transactions
- A hard working personality with a flexible, willing "yes" attitude
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
- Ability to work within a fast paced environment
- Ability to liaise with international clients on cross-border and multijurisdictional transactions
- Ability to be a team player
