Job description

We are recruiting for a Pricing & Commercial Analyst to join our Finance team in London.

Finance team - London

The Group Pricing & Commercial team is a high profile, Partner and client facing advisory function that sets direction for pricing and realization across the firm’s most material client relationships and panel agreements. We drive client-level results and lead firmwide initiatives, from pricing strategy and commercial governance to data, tooling and AI enabled analytics to deliver sustainable margin improvement.

What you will do

Act as a trusted commercial adviser to Relationship Partners and broader account support teams, managing a portfolio of clients and global panel agreements across the firm’s global network. The role is responsible for supporting client‑level panel pricing proposals and commercial analysis across the panel’s full commercial lifecycle. From pricing and negotiation strategy through to performance monitoring and renewal, the Analyst will actively help drive sustainable commercial returns.

As part of the team’s role as the firm’s pricing centre of excellence, Analysts also contribute to network‑wide pricing activity, including the development of guidance and upskilling materials, supporting the annual rate increase process, and feeding into the evolution of pricing approaches in response to changing legal delivery models, particularly technology and AI‑enabled solutions. The Analyst will also play a crucial role in managing requests for ad hoc analysis and proposal support for our global clients.

  • Support high‑profile strategic clients from a commercial perspective, advising Partners across the full range of value‑add levers beyond rates, and feeding into the financial and commercial elements of client and panel pitches to support strong, sustainable outcomes.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of pricing best practice across the Global network through the creation and maintenance of pricing models, templates and guidance, driving adoption and consistency of execution.
  • Translate internal and external data into clear, actionable commercial insight and reporting that improves profitability and realisation, and leading targeted analyses and initiatives to optimise pricing outcomes through improved methodologies, processes or strategic focus.
  • Identify opportunities for systems and operational improvement within the Pricing & Commercial team, supporting solution design, implementation and measurement of impact to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Manage client support requests from Relationship Partners and other account support teams by monitoring and responding to pricing and commercial queries from stakeholders, proactively identifying opportunities to introduce structure and automation to streamline query management and enhance overall service.

What you will have

  • Highly analytical, commercially minded problem solver with strong judgement and a structured approach to addressing difficult, complex and sometime ambiguous issues.
  • Self‑starting, proactive and outcome‑focused, able to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality output to tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player who builds relationships quickly, adapts style with emotional intelligence, and supports others’ development feedback, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
  • Desire to become an influential commercial adviser who is confident working with senior stakeholders across the firm.
  • Experience as a pricing professional preferred with B2B experience (professional services preferred), and a track record of delivering client‑level pricing solutions and commercial outcomes.
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) an advantage
