Role purpose
To support our continued growth A&O Shearman LLP Belgium is currently looking for a (junior) associate for our litigation & investigations practice in Brussels or Antwerp.
Our Belgian team consists of 17 lawyers based in our Antwerp/Brussels offices. We advise clients on their most complex and business-critical disputes, combining first-class legal expertise with a pragmatic, commercial approach. We represent multinational corporations, financial institutions, investors and senior executives in a broad range of matters, including commercial litigation, arbitration, corporate disputes, investigations, white-collar crime, regulatory enforcement, restructuring and insolvency proceedings. As part of A&O Shearman’s global disputes platform, our Belgian team seamlessly collaborates with colleagues across jurisdictions to deliver coordinated, strategic solutions to cross-border challenges.

Who we are looking for

You have obtained a Belgian master’s degree in Law with strong academic results.
You have 1-4 years’ experience in the litigation department of a reputable law firm.
You have an excellent command of English, as well as French and/or Dutch (written and spoken).
You are a team player with excellent legal capabilities, good communication skills and entrepreneurial mindset.
