Shape the knowledge that powers one of the world's leading law firms.
Our Bratislava office is looking for a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL / Knowledge Lawyer) to lead and co-ordinate the knowledge management and training support we offer to our lawyers and clients across the Slovak practice.
This is a rare opportunity for a knowledge-focused legal professional to sit at the centre of the practice — championing best-in-class know-how, sharpening the firm's collective expertise, and helping our lawyers deliver outstanding work to clients. You will work side by side with local partners and fee earners, while plugging into A&O Shearman's global PSL network and the firm's know-how, training, library and marketing functions. If you are energised by learning, sharing and building, and you want your work to make a visible difference across an international practice, we would love to hear from you.
The role
Based in Bratislava, your primary role would be to monitor, organise, develop and co-ordinate legal know-how and provide legal training support to the lawyers and clients of our Slovak practice, working closely with the local lawyers and the firm's wider know-how teams.
This is not a fee earning role and the salary is therefore reflective of a fixed hours arrangement (9:00-17:30 or as agreed).
