Job description

As a risk and compliance manager, you will report to the managing partner of the Paris office and be a member of the global risk and compliance team.

Your responsibilities

Risk and compliance
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all risk and compliance matters in the Paris office.
  • Collaborate with global, European, and local internal departments to discuss the latest developments and serve as the primary escalation point for legal guidance in Paris.
  • Engage directly in operational tasks alongside the risk and compliance teams in the Firm’s European offices.
  • Manage and coordinate risk and compliance requirements in the Paris office.
  • Conduct internal training sessions.
  • Interpret and implement legal requirements, ensuring compliance with the latest standards and identifying current and potential future risks.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of our processes and strategies.

In-house legal
  • Prepare guidance and support to the local partnership.
  • Draft and review engagement letters with local avocats.
  • Prepare and review NDAs.
  • Respond to audit questionnaires from clients.
  • Address client onboarding and compliance-related queries.
  • Prepare statements on behalf of the Paris office.
  • Draft and review agreements with suppliers and intra-group entities.

Your profile
  • You hold a master’s degree in law and have at least 10 years of experience in risk management and claims handling.
  • You are fully proficient in both French and English, written and spoken.
  • You have strong communication skills, demonstrating clear and articulate written and verbal communication in a complex environment.
  • You are creative, flexible, and proactive, with strong communication abilities.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain a variety of relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • You are motivated, well‑organized, and capable of completing tasks autonomously and independently.
  • You have excellent organizational and planning skills, are process‑oriented, and pay great attention to detail.
