Job description

Department purpose
Our Luxembourg Business Development, Marketing and Communications (BD & MarCom) team contributes to the setting and achievement of the Luxembourg office’s overall strategy and business objectives, supporting lawyers in developing their business. This includes building and maintaining client relationships, winning new clients, focusing on key client sector groups, increasing the visibility of the firm on the Luxembourg market and across borders, and positioning the firm as the leading and most advanced law firm on the market. Thanks to the international nature of the work of our Luxembourg office, our team collaborates on a daily basis with the members of A&O Shearman’s international network of business development and marketing professionals, providing support across offices, practice groups, sectors and clients.

Internship contract :

Our Business Development & Marketing Communications team is looking for a dynamic and motivated intern to join us for six months starting August 2026.
Important: A valid internship agreement (convention de stage) with your university is required.

Role purpose

  • Support the planning and execution of client events (logistics, invitations, materials, follow-ups).

  • Help maintain and update the office’s contact management database.

  • Assist with communication campaigns (social media, e-alerts, brochures, videos).

  • Contribute to content creation for various channels (LinkedIn, intranet, presentations).

  • Assist with client-facing presentations, proposals and other related marketing materials.

  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure data consistency and quality.

  • Conduct marketing research and suggest innovative ideas.

Key requirements

  • You are currently preparing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a University or Business school.

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and collaboration skills – engaging with others and working effectively as a team

  • High attention to detail (quality over quantity)

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) is an asset

  • Organised and capable of anticipating as well planning ahead.

  • Willing to suggest new ideas and taking initiatives

  • You are fluent in English in French (written and oral). German would be considered as an asset.
