Department purpose
Our financial services regulatory department at A&O Shearman Luxembourg is dedicated to providing exceptional legal services in the dynamic field of banking and financial regulations. Our international team advises banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, investment funds, Fintech & crypto-asset services, insurers and reinsurers, payment platforms, regulators and corporates in a wholesale and retail context.

Role purpose
We are currently looking for a senior lawyer for our financial services regulatory department.

Key requirements

• You have at least 5 years’ relevant experience within a law firm, ideally based in Luxembourg.

• You are a fully qualified lawyer.

• You have relevant regulatory experience obtained within private practice.

• You have strong interest in or knowledge of CRD, PSD, AML, MIFID II or other financial regulatory frameworks.

• You are fluent in both written and spoken English and French.

• You are dynamic, proactive and have excellent communication skills.

• You have strong technical and writing skills.
