Role purpose
To sustain its growth, A&O Shearman LLP Belgium is currently looking for a junior associate for our tax practice in Brussels.

Our tax lawyers in Belgium assist domestic and international clients on a range of tax topics, often with a cross-border element. This involves not only tax structuring (in the context e.g. of acquisitions, group reorganisations, investment funds etc.), but also tax litigation and tax risk management.

Who we are looking for

• You obtained a Belgian master in law with outstanding academic results and an additional education in tax law;
• You have 1-2 years of experience as a tax lawyer;
• You have an excellent command of Dutch or French and a very good command of English (written and spoken);
• You are a team player with excellent legal capabilities, you have an entrepreneurial spirit and good communication skills;
• You like to work in a team and are able to work independently at the same time.
